Hot Pot Culture is a foundation-year relief printmaking project inspired by the diversity of hot pot culture in China. Exploring regional variations such as Chongqing spicy hot pot, Beijing copper pot, double-flavour hot pot, and Yunnan mushroom hot pot, this project celebrates the richness of Chinese food culture through visual storytelling. Using woodblock printmaking, I experimented with bold contrasts, carved textures, and expressive linework to capture the energy, warmth, and communal spirit of sharing hot pot.
